The Library maintains certain records that are accessible by request by the public.  Please make your requests in writing. The Library does not require the completion of a standard form for this purpose. You may submit your written request by mail, fax, or email.

Please be as descriptive as possible when making your request. Please tell us whether you would like copies of the requested records, or whether you wish to examine the records in person. You have the right to either option.

 

Fees for the actual cost of reproducing the records are:

  • Black & white letter or legal size copies: the first 50 pages are free. Additional pages are 15 cents per page.

  • Color copies are 25 cents per page.

  • If records are provided in electronic format, then the actual cost of the media used for storage will be charged.

  • The Bartlett Public Library District serves a portion of the community of Bartlett. The population of the Library District is about 37,000. The purpose of the Library is to help provide the informational, reading, viewing, and listening needs of the Community. The Library also sponsors programs on a variety of subjects for all ages.
  • The Library is located at: 800 S. Bartlett Road, Bartlett, Illinois
  • The Library employs 21 full-time and 31 part-time employees.
  • The 2015-2016 Fiscal Year Budget:

    • $58,000 - Capital Improvements (Special Reserve Funds)
