It is the policy of the Bartlett Public Library District to permit access to and copying of its public records in accordance with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (the “Act”) (5 ILCS 140/3.5).

The Library does not require the completion of a standard form, but FOIA requests must be done in writing and be as descriptive as possible.
In addition to the presented form, you may submit your written request in person, or by mail.
Let us know if you want copies of the requested records or if you wish to look at them in person.
Cost
First 50 black/white pages Free.
$0.15 per additional page.
$0.25 per page for color copies.
Electronic copies will be the cost of the media used for storage.
