Time Limits on Library Comptuers

How Much Time Do I Get to Use a Computer?

Each reservation starts with a 1 hour session time that can be extended by 15 minutes at a time (as long as no one is waiting for a computer) until a maximum of a 4 hour daily limit is met.

If a computer reservation is not activated within 10 minutes it will be automatically cancelled.

Computers will shut down 5 minutes before closing and will notify patron that the session is ending 15 minutes before the session ends.

How Can I Extend My Time on the Computer?

Each 1 hour session time can be extended by 15 minutes at a time (as long as no one is waiting for a computer) until a maximum of a 4 hour daily limit is met. If you need more than the 4 hour daily limit, please ask at the Circulation Desk at least 10 minutes before your time runs out. If you reach your 4 hour limit before asking for an extension, the computer will reboot and all unsaved work will be lost. All time extensions are at the discretion of the library.
