There are many ways to make contributions to the Bartlett Public Library District. Full details can be found in our Donation Policy.

The Library also accepts gifts through wills, trusts, and legacies. Make an online monetary donation here.

 

Friends & Foundation

These organizations help raise money for Library services and projects; both are IRS 501(c)(3) organizations, and all contributions made out to them are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Monetary donations in any amount are accepted through online or physical payment options. For more details on either group, contact the Library Director at 630.213.5001.

 

 

 

 

Friends of the Bartlett Library

 

Friends of the Library Membership Form

 

The Friends participate in activities and fundraisers throughout the year. They have contributed funds for prizes, programs, subscriptions, summer concerts, and more. Individuals, organizations, clubs and businesses are welcome to become members. Annual fees are due at the beginning of the year, which are used to help fund a variety of projects. Fill out the Friends Application and return it with your payment to the Library to become a member.

Donations:

They welcome monetary donations, as well as the following in good condition: books, current magazines, DVDs, and some other items (call before donating different items). No longer accepted: VHS tapes and CDs

Meetings:

The Friends of the Bartlett Library meet on the second Tuesday of the following months at 7:00 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room. All are welcome!

The Foundation provides additional revenue sources to enhance services and capital improvements that aren’t paid through property taxes. The fund has two parts: The Main Fund goes towards capital improvements, while the Patti Perkins Fund goes towards general health issues with an emphasis on women’s health. In memory of the Library’s former Circulation Department Manager, Patti Perkins.

Donations:

Gifts of $200 or more are recognized with a plaque on the Foundation Donor wall in the lobby: Bronze Level ($200 - $499), Silver Level ($500 - $999), Gold Level ($1000 or more)

Meetings:

The Foundation meets on the fourth Monday of the following months at 4:45 p.m. in the Library Staff Conference Room. All are welcome!
