Education Empowered
Youth Services Librarians at the Bartlett Public Library would love to connect teachers and homeschool families with resources that help students learn. Our services include class visits, Library tours, eResources, Classroom Collections and Assignment Alerts. We look forward to serving you throughout the school year.
School Library Cards
To register for a school library card, principals must complete an application each school year including a list of authorized users. The card is then kept on file at the Library and authorized users may borrow items to supplement their curriculum. Preschools, Elementary Schools, and Middle Schools within the Library's district are eligible for school library card. For more details, please contact the circulation manager at 630.837.2855 or via our contact form
Classroom Collections
Work with one of our youth librarians to prepare a collection of supplementary resources for use in your classroom or home! Share with us the topic or subject you will be exploring, and our staff will prepare a collection of materials for you to checkout that will aid in your students' or children's learning.
A limit of 20 items may be checked out for a classroom as supplementary resources. (We reserve the right to limit the number of items requested on a topic.) Please allow our librarians up to two days to complete any requests; classroom collection will be held for pick up at the youth services desk for up to seven days.
To speak with a youth librarian about creating a classroom collection, call our youth services department at 630-837-3348
Assignment Alerts
Collaborate with our youth services department to empower your students in their coursework! Prior to issuing an assignment, contact us at 630-837-3348. We will select appropriate items for in-library use that your students can use for the duration of the assignment.
